Livingstone School of Nursing and Midwifery is a Public health training institution located in the Southern province of Zambia. We offer various nursing programs like- The Registered Nursing program, Midwifery program Public Health Nursing, HIV practitioners and Operating Theatre Nursing. All our programs are offered at diploma level. The training in all the courses is intensive and requires a lot of practice. Students enrolled in these programs acquire knowledge and skills necessary to practice nursing and midwifery at the end of training
The regular and e learning programs run for three years while the abridged is an in service program offered for a period of one year.
Both male and female students are eligible for training.
The regular programs runs for one year while the bridged is an in service program offered for a period of one year. The pre-service is a direct entry program and runs for three years. In all these programs both male and female students are eligible for training.

The school currently has three exchange programmes with Finland, Norway and Sweden. Students who perform very well at our institution are given a chance to travel to these countries on an exchange basis. These programs are fully sponsored by our partners and our students don’t need to pay anything.
